Our Mission

To custom manufacture the highest quality concrete equipment, with outstanding customer service and ease of maintenance in a safe and rewarding workplace for those building the equipment.

Company History

Stephens Manufacturing traces its roots back to 1957, when Bill Stephens built his own silo. Recognizing a need for demand from others in the industry, he began manufacturing and selling silos—-laying the foundation for what would become Stephens Manufacturing. As the company grew, its product offerings also grew to include conveyors and aggregate bins, eventually evolving into a full-service provider capable of designing and manufacturing complete concrete batch plants. Over the years, additional equipment such as dust collectors and ready-mix reclaimers was introduced, allowing producers to operate more efficiently while meeting environmental standards.

With the expansion of the product line, The office and Factory grew as well. The once small office building and manufacturing space has grown to over 220,000+ sq/ft, creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. With continued investment in technology across our drafting department, machine shop, CNC department, paint shop, shipping/warehouse, and IT systems, Stephens remains one of the world’s premier manufacturers of concrete batch plants.

In the early 1980s, Bill Stephens’ oldest son, Tommy Stephens, led the company from producing basic, lightweight economical plants to some of the heaviest and most durable plants on the market. That commitment to quality and innovation continues today, as the company operates with the same family-oriented principles it was founded on. A strong focus on customer service and a “treat others the way you want to be treated” mindset has resulted in long-standing relationships and repeat business from loyal customers, helping increase market share year after year.

STEPHENS MANUFACTURING
OPERATES AS AN EMPLOYEE
STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN (E.S.O.P.)

As an ESOP, Stephens is employee-owned—giving every team member a direct stake in its success and fueling a culture of accountability, pride, and long-term commitment. The company continues to be led by Max Stephens, Bill’s youngest son, whose leadership carries forward the same values and business principles that have defined Stephens Manufacturing since the beginning. While ownership has evolved, the core values and business principles established by the Stephens family remain at the heart of everything we do—guiding the company forward for future generations.

Message From President

The Stephens Family desire that our name continue to represent honesty and good family value. A large portion of the people my dad hired are still with the company and a lot of our key employees worked close with Tommy for years. We celebrated our 60th anniversary recently, and the Stephens Family plant to pass on the tradition and business for at least another 60 years.
