Stephens Mfg. supplies the best of the best in air cylinders. We offer top quality cylinders and support to our customers. The cylinders are born to be heavy duty air cylinders. For example, all shafts have been nitro-carburizing treated for a much longer life against corrosion, up to 20 to 1 longer life than chromium electroplating. Stephens’s cylinders are environmentally friendly, no surface pitting, flaking, or hydrogen embrittlement. The rod’s lip seal is designed with a real rod u-cup for zero leakage at all pressures from -50 degrees to 230 F degrees. The piston wear ring is nylon material and designed for low friction. This will eliminate metal to metal contact.
